I. ABOUT  BIT

Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), founded in 1940, is one of the national key universities in China, a research-oriented institution of science, engineering and liberal arts with science and engineering as the focus. BIT has been always attached great importance and receiving preferential support from the central government. It is one of the first Chinese universities to run a graduate school, one of the first 15 universities to enter “Project 211” and the 10th university to be approved into “Project 985”.

BIT is traditionally characterized by its excellence in the fields of mechanical engineering, optical engineering, information and communication engineering, power machinery, control engineering, and applied chemistry. BIT also pays great attention to the development of other disciplines, such as management, life science, humanities, and art design.

Some of them are undergraduate, graduate or doctorate students, some are exchange students, and some are Chinese Language students or Short-term Training program students.
